Kingsday on April 30 is a national festive day in the Netherlands. Especially in Amsterdam there are massive crowds flocking the streets (2009-2012).
Istanbul
Life is happening on the streets in Istanbul. It is a nice mix of traditional and modern life. People are selling and buying on almost every streetcorner (2010-present).
Russian cities
Ploshad Revolyutsii is one of many extravagant metro stations (2014). Color images were taken on the streets of St. Petersburg (2013)

Dutch cities
These images were taken in shopping areas of Arnhem and Deventer in the Netherlands. The low autumn and winter sun gives long shades and interesting backlighting (2008-2009).
